Integration of arts and digital technology has become a new trend in art development. Technology provides artists with new forms of expression, extended room for creativity, more interactive experience for the audience, as well as a more sustainable environment for creation.

Cyberport is committed to promoting the application of digital technology in the arts sector, and to connecting the innovation and technology sector with the arts sector for collaboration in ArtTech. With Ir Eric Chan, Chief Public Mission Officer of Cyberport as the moderator, three Cyberport community companies and senior management of Hutchison Telecom will examine how technologies such as 5G, hologram, AR/VR, NFT, can enhance the content and delivery of artistic creation in the session.


Dr Jack Lau

Advisor, The Articoin

Jack first obtained his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley. He subsequently worked at Hewlett Packard, Schlumberger, and a startup in the Silicon Valley.


In 1994, Jack completed his doctorate study in Electronic Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and became the HKUST’s first PhD graduate. Jack then continued his post-doctoral research at Stanford University. In 1998, Jack returned to the Faculty of Electronic Engineering of HKUST and received his tenure there.


In 1999, Jack started Perception Digital, a company providing digital signal processor-based turn-key solutions to a number of Fortune 500 companies and technology leaders. Perception Digital eventually went public on the main board at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Jack also served as the Chairman and CEO of the company.


Jack completed his Kellogg-HKUST EMBA program in 2010.

Mr Kevin Lee

Mr. Kevin Lee Ka Tsun, Founder & CEO of Redspots Creative, has been contributing in the digital entertainment and technology for creative industry for more than 17 years. With his extended knowledge in media technology, he and his partners developed the ‘Stonemask Real-time Animation System’, where users can create high quality animation contents in a real time manner. The Virtual Idol System won the ‘HKICT Award of the Year’, the most prestige and renowned technology award in Hong Kong. Kevin was also selected by Deloitte as the ‘Hong Kong Technology Rising Star’. In 2020, Kevin is awarded the ‘Greater Bay Area Outstanding Entrepreneur – Best Innovative Technology Award’

Mr. Wiva WEI is the founder and CEO of MatrixSense Technology Group, an award winning art technology expert in 3D Holographic Imaging System Infanity3D™️. Since its launch in 2018, MatrixSense has expanded its global distribution network to 15 countries and regions and has done 200+ art shows in different regions. With the rise of digital art, Wiva also leads the team to integrate Infanity3D™️ with NFT art to bring it live to the public.

Kenny Koo Sing-fai

Executive Director and CEO, Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong

Mr Kenny Koo Sing-fai has been Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited (HTHKH or the company) since August 2018. He joined the HWL Group in 2006 and became Director of Enterprise and International Business of the company in 2014. He led the corporate market and international services, business and development aspects of the mobile business until 2015 when joined Hutchison Asia Telecom Group (HAT) as Chief Commercial Officer of Vietnamobile and General Manager - International Services , overseeing and managing HAT’s mobile operations in high-growth markets such as Vietnam and Indonesia.

Mr Koo spearheaded the Company’s pioneering mobile projects with renowned strategic partners such as Apple, Facebook, WhatsApp, Microsoft and Google since mobile internet boomed. He is instrumental in driving new business strategies and bringing in new elements as the Company is developing cloud computing, big data and IoT solutions to create an ecosystem for Hong Kong’s smart city initiatives and a new digital Internet economy.

Ir. Eric Chan

Chief Public Mission Officer, Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited

Ir. Chan is in charge of building the start-up ecosystem at Cyberport from inspiring the next generation, through nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit, to empowering global ambition, by providing comprehensive entrepreneurship programmes, funding support and partnership networks.

Ir. Chan has over 30 years’ experience in the ICT and technology industry, a chartered engineer, a chartered marketer and a Fellow of Institution of Engineering & Technology (UK). Prior to joining Cyberport, Chan had held various senior positions in global telecom and IT services companies. Ir. Chan has been active in public services including education, industrial training, professional bodies and charitable organisations, and is currently Chairman of Knowledge Management Development Center.

Ir. Chan holds a BSc. (Hon) degree in Engineering from University of London, a Master degree in Business Administration from Manchester Business School, and received Senior Executive Education from INSEAD (France) and IESE (Spain) business schools.
