About the Programme

Through a critical lens, leading artists and curators Eugenio Ampudia, Gregorio Camara, Nicolas Janowski, and Enrique Méndez-de-Hoyos, moderated by Arturo Delgado, share the layered cultural meanings and interconnection between people and the land, and humanity’s relationship with nature. With the world’s rapidly changing landscapes and nature, the role of art is increasingly important in unravelling the complexity of ecology, and to create narratives that embrace the indigenous paradigm and inter-species landscapes. What is the relationship between nature, technology and humanity? And how can we transform the future through artistic expression and identify new pathways forward?
