About the Programme
As algorithms and codes become increasingly ubiquitous in our everyday lives, in parallel, a new generation of digital artists emerged. Employing mathematical principles, pixels and algorithms in their creative expressions, these creators present some of the most innovative works of the century. Altering our perception of time, space, and structure, the real-time computer generated works are a culmination of artistic expressions, coding and blockchain technology. The expert panel includes leading generative artists Daniel Canogar and Charles Sandison, moderated by curator Abigail Miller, the artists will be sharing on their work and processes. Through the use of algorithms and virtual crafting techniques, the site-specific and temporal works reflect the transformation of our time, human behaviour, representations and perception.
